PAIA Manual

The Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) of 2000 gives effect to the provisions of Section 32 of the Constitution. This section provides to everyone the right to have access to information held by another person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.

The Online School’s PAIA Manual is published in terms of Section 51 of PAIA. It summarises the types of information records held by the Online School, and it explains how to request access to information records.

The Online School PAIA Manual may be downloaded here.

To request access to an information record, Form 2 should be completed and submitted to admin@onlineschool.co.za. A copy of Form 2 may be found as an annexure in the PAIA Manual.

The Information Regulator has published a Guide on how to use PAIA. The Information Regulator Guide may be downloaded here.
